Burning down the barn Hawaiian/ Asheville WEDDING

Congrats meg and Jordan. Beautiful time in the mountains of NC. Ran into native sway band friend, so much fun. Dream wedding. I gave a toast bc I wanted to explain why I think the couple is so perfect for each other.

Preschool germs

I've been sick for two weekends in a row- the kids in my class keep passing around the sickness. Thank god for natural medicine.

Back to Blogging after a TWO Year Hiatus.

Alas! After two years of living, traveling, and exploring, I return to social media. I actually return to graduate school, which has thrown me back into the computer world.
Im studying Teaching English as a Second Language. It emphasizes digital literacy as an educational tool. It is way cool.
I just signed up for Second Life, yesterday. I have a virtual avitar, who goes to class and conferences for me :)
Its so ironic becuase for 2 years, I experienced life with little or no internet and technology access. Life in Yosmite National Park and on the Big Island, Hawaii, were great escapes from computer life and for naturalist adventures. You should imagine how intimidating my graduate program was when I started. Thankfully, I have great peers and a patient professor who have walked me through the computer basics, to get me on track
with cutting edge information technology.
I feel really blessed and lucky to have options and opportunities to explore my world.
The program I am enrolled in at the University of San Francisco, is literally one of the first of our time. Hopefully this Master's degree will make me very marketable professionally. That is one priority of mine...to continue exploring, learning, and teaching, but hopefully in a way that pays me well for doing what I love.
Also, I have set up my Iphone so I can Blog more conveniently.

All the Best.
Alex
